This DIY Hand painted vintage hutch, so unique with intricate design~~is the most beautifully designed storage you’ll ever see! Appropriately named THE SPARROW, This very special hutch takes ‘conversation piece’ to the next level! Perfect Foyer statement piece, for most any room in the house! She is uniquely and artistically created~ her design is as free spirited as the birds she represents. I was originally inspired by the overall shape of this Vintage Hutch,~to me it was reminiscent of a Victorian Aviary. When I found the ironwork tree to grace the opening, I knew I was on the right ‘flight pattern’ for her. The Sparrow, named for the old hymn, ‘His Eye Is On The Sparrow’, is a perfect mix of Boho-Victorian-Romantic-Shabby Chic all wrapped up in one. She is truly a One-of-a-Kind, Breathtakingly Beautiful Art piece.
The decorative finishes on The Sparrow have all been handcrafted throughout. Free style paint, stencils, stamps, decoupage and hand crafted paper molds are just a few of the specialized finishes cleverly combined on this Mixed Media Wonder. Both the door and drawer function perfectly, and she is solid and sturdy through and through.
The Sparrow would make for an amazing statement piece in a Grand Foyer, Stairway Landing, or as a visual focal point destination down a hallway, or across the room.
